Kindergarten Registration for 2020-21 to Be Held in Two Phases

Parents with a student currently enrolled in Frederick County Public Schools should register their rising kindergarten student between February 3 and 28. Parents who have no children currently enrolled in FCPS should register their child for kindergarten from March 3-31. Parents should complete the registration process at the elementary school their child will attend.

Elementary Rezoning Approved

On-Time Graduation Rate Exceeds State Average

Frederick County Public Schools’ on-time graduation rate for the Class of 2019 was 92.8 percent compared to Virginia’s rate of 91.5percent. In addition to exceeding the state’s on-time graduation rate, the school division’s 3.2 percent dropout rate for the Class of 2019 was lower than the state’s rate of 5.6 percent.
